About the project
At the outset, note that this project is aimed at drawing attention to the conservation of Lake Baikal and the protection of its inhabitants, especially nerpas, the cute freshwater seals found in the lake.
Baikal is a huge ancient lake in the heart of Siberia, accounting for 20% of the planet's drinkable water.
It's home to countless unique creatures, the most famous of which is the Baikal seal, or the nerpa. Incredibly inquisitive and active, these animals can swim at a speed of up to 25 km/hr and dive to a depth of 200 meters, holding their breath for 20-25 minutes.
The lake serves as a background to the game’s setting and the seals are the protagonists.
